VITALY MIRONOV

Born in Moscow (1961), graduated from The Moscow Pedagogical State University, Department of History (1983).
Since 1997 he has been organizing prestigious top-rated international festivals and foreign tours for a number of outstanding Russian artists and companies.
In 2006, he became the initiator and main organizer of the first international military music festival in Russia the Kremlin Military Tattoo Festival, held at the Red Square in September 2007. He served as the General Manager and Creative Director of the Festival. The Festival's special guests of honour were Prince Michael of Kent (Great Britain) and Prince Joachim (Denmark). According to the general assessment of international experts this event was one of the best festivals of this genre ever held in the world.
In early May 2008 by the invitation of the Royal House of Great Britain he represented Russia at the Royal Festival in Windsor and took part in the ceremonial celebrations dedicated to our common victory in World War II. Vitaly arranged the participation of The State Kuban Cossack Choir dance group in the Festival and was introduced to the members of the Royal Family of Great Britain, including Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Anne.
In 2008 he received an official invitation from the Libyan Arab People's Socialist Jamahiriya to head the organization of the first World Festival of Military Music in Africa. The festival dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Libyan revolution and the 10th anniversary of the African Union took place in early September 2009 in Tripoli and Tobruk with big success. Vitaly was awarded the highest state award of the Libyan Jamahiriya the Libyan Gold Medal by of the Leader of the Libyan Jamahiriya Muammar Gaddafi for his services to the Libyan people.

In 2011 he initiated and managed the Mediterranean Festival of Arts, which took place on Crete from September 25 to October 6. The unique feature of this Festival was a festival island concept implemented for the first time ever. Throughout the festival period concerts of various kind were held in different locations of Crete, including classical opera and ballet, classical and folk music and theatre productions. In particular, the premiere of Mozart's opera "Idomeneo" in historical settings and a ballet gala concert with the participation of world ballet stars took place.
In 2013–2016 another high-profile project developed by Vitaly Mironov took place being “An Offering To St Andrew’s Day” Russian Culture Seasons in Great Britain. The events were starred by famous Russian classical music and ballet artists, including a group of soloists from the The Russian Ballet Theatre, prima opera singer Oksana Lesnichaya, pianist Dmitry Onishchenko and other remarkable artists from Russia and Scotland.

In May 2017 Vitaly Mironov in close cooperation with the Moscow Government Culture Committee took part in managing the festive events on the occasion of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. The participation of well-known groups from Scotland, Wales, New Zealand and Italy in the Immortal Regiment March and The Spring of Victory international music festival in Moscow was organized due to his active efforts. Vitaly's contribution was recognized by presenting him with a personal Letter of Gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin (No. 000937 dated May 30, 2017).

2018 was marked by new achievements of Vitaly Mironov, whose activities received support from the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
From March to September 2018 the personal project of Vitaly Mironov - the International Cultural Festival "Land of Goodness and Peace" - was successfully implemented in Crimea with Russian musicians and artists from a number of foreign countries, including Great Britain, Italy, New Zealand taking part. Concerts held in Simferopol, Kerch, Sebastopol, Yalta, Feodosia, Alushta, Bakhchisaray, Alupka caused interest and support of a large audience and were widely covered by both Russian and foreign media. The festival was an attractive informational occasion for strengthening the positive image of Russia at the international arena.
Another success of Vitaly Mironov's international activities is the presentation of new Russian films abroad. For instance, the British premiere of the Russian film "Sobibor" directed by Konstantin Khabensky took place in Aberdeen on December 8, 2018. The premiere of the film, which was attended by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, the Consul General of the Russian Federation, media representatives and numerous spectators, aroused genuine audience interest and, like the film itself, received a positive response in the British media and became a truly notable event in the public life of Great Britain. Well-known and popular national newspapers The National, Press & Journal, The Courier, Daily Record and the BBC gave the most positive reports on the premiere of "Sobibor". In May 2019 Vitaly organized the premiere in the UK of Renat Davletyarov's new film "Donbass. Outskirts", dedicated to the civil war in Donbass. The premiere took place in Cardiff on May 26 as part of the Merthyr Rising festival and met with considerable interest and understanding from the audience and the media.
A broad public discussion was organized following the premiere. The popular British magazine “Valley Times” (05/28/2019) called the film “…a stunning cinematic production…”. The magazine also quoted the words of the famous Welsh cultural figure John Asquith, who attended the premiere of the film: “…This is a film that every Western politician should see…”.

On the eve of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Allied Forces’ invasion of Normandy Vitaly organized the premiere screening of Sergei Zaitsev’s documentary “Allies. Faith and Truth” on June 10, 2019 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The premiere organized at Summerhall, one of the central cinemas of the city, was attended by both Russian and British veterans of the World War II and the local youth. The premiere, which was intended to emphasize the outstanding role of the Soviet Union in the defeat of Nazi Germany, received coverage in the British press, for instance The Courier published positive feedback of this event. Numerous viewers who attended the premiere, including local and Russian war veterans, responded warmly of the film. During a joint meeting and discussion that took place immediately after the screening of the film, its relevance was unanimously noted, as well as the need for a truthful coverage of the history of World War II and the decisive contribution of the Soviet people and the Red Army for our common victory over the Nazi Germany.

At the present moment Vitaly continues to work with famous Russian and foreign artists and companies of various genres, organizes concerts and tours for them, and also develops and implements successfully concepts for organizing new large-scale international projects.
